February 2004 Newsletter

2004... REALLY?
As we head into the second month of this new year, by now you've probably gotten used to writing "2004" after the date, but if you are like me, you may still not be used to the fact that the year starts with a "20"! The technology of this era still amazes me! The fact that we can network as children's pastors all over the world, sharing ideas, resources, and encouragement is just too much fun. I hope you will continue to find Kidology.org a helpful resource in your efforts to reach and teach children for Jesus!

Because Jesus Loves Children,
Pastor Karl D. Bastian - a.k.a. "The Kidologist"

KIDOLOGIST REVIEWS THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST
"A devastatingly brutal, yet accurate visual experience of the last twelve hours of the life of Jesus Christ." Pastor Karl viewed a pre-release screening of this much-discussed Mel Gibson movie. Discover his take on the film and its appropriateness for children.

WITH KIDS IN MIND: KIDS THAT DRIVE YOU NUTS
One of my favorite children's movies is Ice Age, which features a hyperactive squirrel character. There are a lot of kids like that squirrel. They are energetic busybodies that won't sit still, often obsessed with something silly. Many times they are annoying and cause disaster everywhere they go.
